Two of this photo blog’s subscribers are a couple of friends of mine from secondary school. When I started this project almost two years ago, I had no idea that Louise and Rich would one day marry. I was deeply honoured last year to be invited to be their wedding photographer, especially as I had not fulfilled this role previously.
I had the time of my life. My work was made easier than I had feared, not just because Rich and Louise are such good friends of mine and each other, but also because their love for each other made their natural poses so wonderful to photograph.
Thank you Rich and Louise. I can’t imagine ever feeling so honoured as I was when asked to be your photographer, and I consider the photographs that I took of your day to be among the most precious I will ever shoot.
